Bill Galyean

For the last 35 years Galyean has worked continually in the Marketing/Creative Areas both on a national as well as international level.  His experience has been in the development and execution of marketing and brand development concepts for organizations ranging from multinational Fortune 100 Companies, entrepreneurial firms, emerging start ups as well as non profits.

 

As senior art director, creative director and partner, Galyean has worked for such firms as Tracy-Locke, (DDB/Needham), Darcy, McManus and Masius, and as partner in his own firm specializing in medical advertising for accounts as Johnson  & Johnson, Medical and Sulzer Medica of Switzerland.  His expertise crosses all facets of communications ranging from magazine, outdoor, direct mail, television, and the internet, making him well-versed in integrated marketing.

 

Galyean has served in a creative capacity on accounts such as Johnson & Johnson, Medical, Phillips Petroleum, American Air Lines, Frontier Air Lines, IBM, Frito-Lay, Red Lobster Inns, Southwestern Bell, Borden, Hilton Hotels, Bell Helicopters, Old El Paso Foods, Austex Foods, Haggar Apparel, Lennox Air Conditioning, Neiman Marcus, Sky Chefs International and Columbia Hospitals.

 

He has won numerous awards for his advertising both locally and nationally in print and broadcast and is a frequent judge at the International RX Medical show in New York City in the categories of  print and broadcast.  His creative work has appeared in The Journal of Communication Arts / CA Magazine.

 

Galyean has been affiliated with associations such as the Dallas Advertising League, the Fort Worth Advertising Club, the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, the American Association of Advertising Agencies, the International RX Medical Advertising Club in New York City and is currently on the advisory board for the Art Institute of Dallas. He is currently on the team of faculty advisers for the 2008 NSAC Campaigns team at TCU.
