
Linda P. Campbell is an editorial writer and op-ed columnist for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. She has worked as a journalist since 1980, and her experience includes five years as national legal affairs correspondent for the Chicago Tribune, based in Washington, D.C.
She won the Lone Star Award from the Houston Press Club for editorial writing in 2005 and 2006. She also won a complimentary writing award for the Association for Women Journalists in 2006.
She has won the Star-Telegram's Annual Amon Awards for editorial writing and commentary, and received a 2004 Katie Award from the Dallas Press Club for specialty column writing and a Lone Star Award from the Houston Press Club in 2005 for editorial writing. She completed a fellowship on children and family policy through the University of Maryland in 2003-2004.
