Sarah Maben teaches media writing courses. She is a fulltime Ph.D. student.

Before moving to Fort Worth, she was the director of communications for the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce. While in Waco, she had the opportunity to work with White House officials and foreign dignitaries while "43", better known as President Bush, traveled to his nearby ranch. Her media relations efforts helped place stories in national news sources, such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and New York Times.

She also has worked for a daily newspaper and magazines. She graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and earned a master's degree from the University of Georgia.

She has taught journalism and public relations courses at Baylor University and the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Matt, reside in Fort Worth.
