Doris Wallace, the administrative assistant for the school, advises students and handles the department's day-to-day operations. Her responsibilities vary from day to day depending on the needs of students and faculty/staff. Mrs. Wallace started working at TCU in August 1990 and moved to the then-journalism department in May 1994. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington.
